I keep getting "Page Can't Be Displayed" and x's where graphics should be. I have ran Adaware & Spybot and removed all spyware. I have cleaned all temp. internet files. I've ran AVG virus scan and no viruses. This problem is happening quite often and is very aggravating. Could someone help me on this? Thanks

CAUSES
Internet Explorer connection settings are incorrect.
An incorrect entry exists in a Hosts file.
The Winsock.dll, Wsock32.dll, or Wsock.vxd file is missing or damaged.
There are multiple copies of the Winsock.dll, Wsock32.dll, or Wsock.vxd file, or one of these files is in the wrong folder.
Transmission Control Protocol/Internet Protocol (TCP/IP) is not installed or is not functioning correctly.
The WinSock2 registry key is damaged.
The Internet Connection Sharing (ICS) installation is damaged or is not functioning.
What is your OS?
What server are you using?
Which IE version?

Cougar has listed all the possible causes. :) If you are using Dialup, try to make a new connection and use it while connecting.
Try removing Dial-up from Control Panel -> Network. Restart the machine and then reinstall the same.
In IE Window Click on Tools -> Internet Options -> Advanced -> Hit Restore Defaults button.

Aggressive settings on some firewalls can also prevent pages from loading correctly. If you are using a firewall try to relax the settings a bit and see if that works.
