Ok please post DVD's that are under 4.38gig, so that a full backup is possible. Also post DVDs where at least the movie section is under 4.38gig so that it can be backed up without the need for rencoding.

You must post the full title, region, etc of the DVD, like "Spawn - Directors Cut, PAL, R4 - F", not just "Spawn".

Also no need to list PAL/NTSC if it is the default for the region... ie. If the movie is R2 then PAL will be assumed unless otherwise listed.

Just use F or M to indicate whether a full backup or just a backup of the movie part is possible, so that i know which section to add it to.

**New, if a movie is too large to fit then use R to indicate that it requires Re-Encoding. Also if it is possible to avoid a re-encode by trimming some of the credits, then by all means list that to.

As usual NO DVD silver region 0 DVDs.. ONLY RETAIL/RENTAL ones.

I will edit and delete posts and update the list.

Full backup usually does still mean ripping the DVD as most retail DVDs are copy protected, so unless you have an authoring drive you are still going to have to rip it, but you do not have to leave anything out.. As I said a full backup is possible.

I am just posting what other people give me.. I DO NOT go out and personally test all of these. If there is a mistake in the list then please just post it and I will update the list... and once again NO DVD silvers.

One more thing, the same rules apply for XXX titles as they do for the rest of the forum.

Also you may want to check out DVD profiler (http://www.dvdprofiler.com/dvdpro/index.html) and IMDB Disc Formats database (http://us.imdb.com/Sections/DVDs/DiscFormats/) and AfterDawn (http://www.afterdawn.com/dvd/dvd_layer.cfm).

Anyway keep them coming and I will keep updating..

Last thing, if you want to post this list somewhere else then please give credit, esp. to the fine memers bellow who made this list possible.
