OK, my computer that i use at school got all messed up (prolly my fault somehow ;)) any way, long story short, I could only login to the network in safemode (they are running windows 2000.) So my teacher said she would just reghost the comp w/ the standard image, but I asked if i could install XP PRO, she said i could try it...
So I installed XP and it asked for a domain, so i entered it, and my teacher gave her login and pw, but she was not a high enuf admin to join domains... Any way, I just installed anyway, and when it first booted, it ran the Network ID wizard, and again, needed a full admin. So the computer works fine, the internet even works (after configgin the proxy.) So now the computer is dual booting XP and 2000 and i was basically wondering if there is a way to export the network settings from 2000 into XP? I did think to just export the entire 2000 registry and import it, i know it would make some probs, but will fix a lot (all the apps on the C: should then work again w/o reinstalling them) but i ran out of time today, so i hafta wait till monday.
Any ideas would help!
TIA
