use the file stack option. in xbmp you need a cd1, cd21 suffix in the file name (before the .avi)

in xbmc so long as 90% of name is the same they'll be stacked.

when the file stack is enabled only the first file part will appear

can't remeber where the option is in xbmp but in xbmc its on the left hand side in "my video's"

make sure you have a newish release of it though

Do u mean Movie CD1.avi, then Movie CD2.avi will auto stacked itself within xbmc???

XBMP: has to have lfile name as "Movie CD1.avi, then Cd12.avi"...well that bad news for me then. My files has already burnt to disk, so no alteration there.

THX, now i know.

yeah if you enable file stacking- try it for your self with one of your already burned dvd's- it will work from a samba share as well as from the xbox dvd drive- assuming you haven't got your external pc drive to work with xbmc yet

xbmc should cope better if you haven't stuck to the cd1, cd2, etc naming policy- i have series that are "tv series.... 301.avi", "t.v. series.... 302.avi", "tvseries... 3x03.avi" that get stacked if they're in the same folder

js2000- alot of your questions pertaining to xbmp are answered in the xbmp 2.4 manual (http://prdownloads.sourceforge.net/xbplayer/xbmp2.4manual.english.pdf?download)- i'd advise you to have a read if you get stuck particularly as you seem to want to stick to xbmp
