First off, you'll need a cable to connect the output from the cassette player to the input on the soundcard. Tell me what type of output the player has & I'll be more specific on what cable you'll need to get.

Next, download the freeware version of Cowon Jet-Audio 6.x Basic (http://www.jetaudio.com/download/). This will help you record the analog signal from the tapes to the digital form to store on HD.

Post back, m8, if you have more ????.

I tried to download some recording sw ages ago but couldn't get it to work....
