mp3 to audio started getting nero probs

have been using nero fo a long time all of a sudden when i burn mp3s to audio it can take up to 2 minutes to do the lead in! which is long! usually around 20+ secs anyone know why this might be the case! also had it on different media and different mp3's!

Maybe your burner doesn't like the new media. Is the burn time also increased?

yeah i thought that myself but its happened on a few media but its not every burn! ive re installed nero see how that goes! thanks for the reply! alos it can happen when burning at 24x or 32x!

If your running xp then i had the same problem a while back, but it was on avi files... used to only take about 4 mins to copy, but then all of a sudden with same media it was taking upto 20 mins... however not on the lead in bit.. just the whole lot... I did a systems restore, and then updated my drivers which did the trick... burns even faster now.. but bought a dvd writer now so all good....

seems to be a media issue as using a different disc and all seems well again! strange!
