I've been blowing through CD-Rs and spending oodles of time trying to narrow my problems with CD burning down. I've got an LG 8525B which burns nothing but coasters so that POS is going back for a refund. Disc Juggler v4.1 gives errors on the verify every time.
So I moved onto my Pio 105 (v1.33 fw) drive for CD burning. Now I've had sporadic success with the Pio burning CDs. Disc Juggler gives me a "Device Not Ready" error EVERY time, shortly before finishing the burn process. However, the Verify shows that the disc is good ... though as I said, it isn't always good.
DJ's help menu gives the impression this is a symptom of the buffer being empty but I know that isn't the case. L2 cache is set at the default of 16MB, I'm doing nothing else while burning and I've got plenty of RAM. Besides, only burning with the Pio gives me that error.
Anyone else have these issues using DJ and the Pio 105? Anyone have any suggestions?
