is a back up game and i already had latest update before putting this game in

The GBATemp wiki says you should remove the update from the ISO with Wii Brick Blocker then burn again. Same with Transformers.

Assuming the Wii still works, you may have some duplicate or non-working channels.

the pokemon update fooks up your wii. its not fully bricked but you wont be able to access your wii settings

the way around this will be when a new uk firmware release is on a backup, then it should update back to uk firmware

never allow anything other than a pal backup to update your wii!

lad told me as soon as he put disc in it started update - didnt ask him or nowt


can he just turn wii off if this happens again?

I think I had this once before with Tamagotchi game. It came up with the "Starting Update" screen so I ejected the disc, it said "Update not completed" and the Wii seems fine.

Ive got the same problem but i completed my update & have now got duplicate weather & news channels and cant get rid of them for love nor money but i cant see how a pal update will remove channels caused by a ntsc game ??

ffs! i let the update run as i was testing the game for a friend,,, i now have non working duplicate channels (news and weather)... what do u mean by wont be able to access wii settings?
