whats the best/easyst way of converting svcds to dvd?

Any ideas on how to do this? I think i might need to rencode it it because its 480x576

try using nero start smart and create dvd video i think u can do it from there

You need to get the file from the MPEG2 folder for each of the VCD's. Copy them over and rename them, ie. vid1 and vid2. You can then use Nero Vision Express to convert/burn them. I would avoid creating a menu, untick that option. I also would Merge them and create chapter stops. You can also change the bitrate to get it to fit right on the blank.

Many people knock NVE, but it is a very easy process to convert to DVD (you can mix PAL, NTSC, AVI, and VOB's on one disc) and the results are decent. It will take some time though (3 - 4 hrs).
