Things are begining to get interesting.
There should be some legal recourses against companies that propagate this type of software.

The spyware is getting more and more sophisticated every day. It has become an unbearable annoyance.

Another good reason to install SpywareBlaster 3.1 from :

PhilEnfield (http://www.dvdrom-guide.com/forums/member.php?u=97) does this actually work? the reason i ask is ive had it 3 months now and its never actually identified anything or warned me of anything (its always running with all protection enabled) yet ive had 2 trojans and various spyware on my PC detected and cleaned with PestPatrol & Avast!

1) To prevent trojans you need an Anti AV app. Spyware apps do not usually cover it.

2) Spyware blaster does not detect spyware. It prevents spyware. It wont identify anything, it will imuninize your system. Be sure to update it regulary.

My question was does it actually works and im assuming by your response that the answer is no it dosen't work.

My responce was a direct one to your question. Why would some one recomend software to you if it does not work?

Are you downloading shareware/freeware apps by any chance?

To prevent trojans you need an Anti AV app.

Currently I am using AVG AV, Adaware, SpywareBlaster 3.1 and Spybot S&D and a Firewall and I search for updates at least twice a week.
I have noticed that updates come through thick & fast, so I guess it depends on how often you check for them. If things are still getting through on your machine, maybe they are new ones.

AV means anti virus. Whats so funny about a typo?
