why is this IXTRERME 1.2

hi i have ixtreme 1.2 firmware on my drive,i thought that it wouldnt let you play games that are not stealthed properly.
i got games that i checked for stealth with xbox backup creator.
they pass everything except for the PFI test as it says:

PFI.failed unknown data.

but the games still boot up fine,and the other games i have fail properly so wont boot.
just wondering is it ok to use these games online or not.
