I just built this pc a few weeks ago so its not too polished up yet and I have many more mods planned starting with tinting the window. :)

littlejack...what the hell is that??? A washing machine?? j/k What ever it is I like it!!! :t_up: Whats in it??
Littlejack

Washing machine:saywhat:
Well it's a bit old now but it has an xp2400 @ 2.5Ghz (2.0v) on a soltek 75frn board, gf4ti turbo 310/550 3 80gb maxtor hdds and a cdrw. water cooling is swiftech, with a bayres reservior and a black ice extreme rad.
All fans are contolled by some home brew circuits that speed them up when the temp starts rising.
windows and uv lights as normal.

like the blue uv reactant stuff mate, very nice..............
I-wanna-be-unfamous!
04-25-2004, 08:32 PM
hey smokafatty, do you always like leaving your computer case open cuz if not, how can the slot fan get the cool air in?
and ps2wiz, are you really using 15 fans!
smokafatty
04-25-2004, 09:43 PM
Hey fonty, no I don't leave my case open, for air intake I have a 120mm fan which at full speed pushes just under 100cfm which I think is plenty of cool air. The slot blower just circulates the air and blows straight at my video card to help keep the temp down when overclocking it.
@Cheeky- thanks m8, I used 4 12" sticks and 2 80mm rings of uv ccfl lights.

Smarting off to a Moderator is a bannable offence m8. Tell you what, I'll take the suspension if you'll take the ban? Even Steven?

So, i bought a shuttle, and was looking for something differant to do with it....
http://www.snakepit56.freeserve.co.uk/pcpics/FrontShuttle.jpg
http://www.snakepit56.freeserve.co.uk/pcpics/1.JPG
sn45g, xp3200(400fsb), 512 corsair xms, fx5700 ultra, stealthed dvd writer and 2 x 80gig maxtors. 4 fans and an aerogate 2.
Chris IOW
05-16-2004, 05:52 AM
Well thats different :)
Very impressive too, did you design and build that?
Littlejack
05-16-2004, 06:14 AM
Thanks, yes i did it myself.
i'm quite a fan of the looks of a standard shuttle so after i done this to it i never really knew what i thought of it, but now it's been done for about a month and i use it daily i like it.
initialy i just wanted the aerogate in, as the shuttle's control sends the fans up and down like a yo yo, but i needed to use the bay for the dvd writer and so this idea was born.

You know when them clear cases first arrived, i absolutly hated them!
But now, having seen a few nicely modded ones, i've grown to like them,
especially after dark.
nice work.
there must be loads more 'case modders' use these boards, where's all the pics!!

The Cases have really come down in price too! When they first came out the good ones were over £100. I know they are under that now but dont know the exact Price.

Okay, I have modified mine a bit more. I have put in some UV lights and UV Sensitive cables. Unfortunately only the green floppy drive cable really shows up well. I also installed a switch for the black lights right underneath my floppy drive in a spare bay. ;)

The thing that scares me about the water cooled systems are what happens if it leaks, cracks, ect. I saw what one poor guy had to go through when his setup sprung a leak.
