hi, i have a 500gb maxtor external HD and when i try to access it i get the above error, ive tried it on 2 pc's both running vista home premium.
i dont know if its vista, usb or pc's fault but i need to get it working without formatting it.
anybody help
i did a search and found phil the mod had a similar problem, but his was with his mp3 player.
