Hi

I have the above card which was installed and working fine. I had flashed ms25/28 and LG drives with it no probs.
I recently went to flash a Hitachi 47DJ and found it had an Error 10 code. I have tried re-installing over and over, using driver disc supplied and many other versions of updated drivers for it but keep gettig above error or everytime i boot i get found new hardware ??

Any ides anyone as this is diving me crazy rebooting pc.

Thanks.

Some hitachi 46/47's cause this - try powering on the drive:

Slax - when you see the VMBootlinuz text
Connectivity kit - when the wondows loading screen

Only one has not then gone into modeb doing this for me, that had to be done in a external program.

If you keep getting new hardware found theres a very good chance your card isn't fitted correctly in the PCI slot, try removing it and re-seating, even in another slot if you have to, once this problems cured if you still keep getting an error 10 try the following.

Does your motherboard have an on board sata to use on the Hitachi?
when you boot your pc with slax 2.0 at the green clover leaf screen power up the 360 this should stop the via card from getting error 10.
If your still having problems your best option is to buy a connectivity kit for around £11.00, you can use it on samsungs as well, v2 usb works well with hitachi drives and slax isn't required.
