Quick PS3 Question

I'm getting a ps3 soon and have spotted one on ebay.

It's an NTSC/JAP model

Question - Are they multi region? or will they only run NTSC games?

They are multi region for Ps3 games but not Ps2/Ps1 or films. They are also universal voltage so you don't need a stepdown converter (at least the 3 JAP ones I had were).
