Hey guys I was wondering if you could give me some help with putting firmware onto my Pioneer DVD writer.
I looked at google and quite a few sites, they keep saying 1001 things that need to be downloaded, installed and fiddled with some of which I cant see how they would be necessary. And even then some of the links didnt work for the files.
SO onto the point, I need somebody to give me a serious "Idiots Guide" to what firmware to get, and any other necessary files. And only what is really necessary to burn at 8x using 4x Riteks. Plus I would need to know any problems that this can cause, ie does it increase the risk of the drive burning out or me ending up with lots of coasters.
This information comes up when I look at my drives in CloneCD, don't know if it will have any benefit:
