Hello.

I've got my LG5083 dvd player, have done the vcd and multiregion hack. But the player seems to have problems playing 'Datasafe' ritek discs, and most other ritek discs...It just spins and gives a disc read error. Is ther any way to solve this please? Any help appreciated, Thanks.

I have an LG pc dvdrom drive & that struggles to read dvd-r's too (same media Datasafe, Traxdata G04's)- the only thing i can possibly recommend is to try burning it at 1x (even if your discs are rated as 4x

what burner/app are you using?

strangely they play iso9660 format discs fine so maybe you could try doing a data disc in iso9660 (dvd iso in nero) and dragging the VIDEO_TS and AUDIO_TS folders onto the disc and burning it like that (remembering to finalise the disc -untick the enable multisession box)

When i Burned disk with Nero, the disk (Ritek) played ok ... using Burnatonce it wouldnt play ....... now I stick with Nero.... :insane:
