no picture from 360

just turned sons 360 on and not getting picture to tv
can hear the m/c booting to dashboard etc just no picture.
tryed it on different tv with cable from my 360 same thing happens.
ne ideas whats the matter. would rather not send back for repair
if it can be easly fixed.

thats what i would have said matey,but if not that see if ya can borrow a mates lead and see if its the same:)

Yea, as sway said try new or borrow a cable that works (test it on another console). If the 360 wasn't outputting video it would give you the error lights. Try that before you call to get your console fixed or replaced.

I've seen this problem before, almost definitely a faulty cable, ring MS and they'll send you a new one free

tryed different cable from my other box. no red lights or nothing
just no picture seems a fault with av socket on back of m/c
phoned ms neways

i had a weird pic prob last month-all distorted with lines on it.
switched over to 720p from 1080i and it cured it thankfully

well sent it back to ms. got it back today with replacement motherboard.
and its still flashed so well happy as i exspected a refurb unit
