Hi guys, just ordered a pre modded Wii, and wanna download and burn some games ready for when it gets here. Can anyone reccommend some good 'uns to start off with?
Thnx in advance.

Errrmmm, Oh theres...... wait.... then theres errrrmm.
To be honest I'm not impressed with any of them. I may be a minority though. People bang on about Paper Mario but Mario games are not targeted at the likes of me. I like 1st person shooters and decent driving games. The Occasional 3rd person if it's good enough. Haven't found a single thing that tickles my fancy so far.
What sort of things do you like?

Oh right. lol.
Not really looking for anything in particular mate. Got the 360 for the serious stuff. Just looking for something fun thats easy to pick up and play.
Maybe i should have asked which ones to avoid?

Yeah, know what you mean. Pref the 360 any day. The trouble with fun games are they're very short lived.
You can try something for 10 mins and have a blast, but ultimately they're shallow once the novelty wears off.
Played a bit of Eledies last week. Graphically it's typtical kiddie fare, as a BIT (I use the term lightly) of a puzzler it's fairly addictive.

Eledies you say? I'll have a look at that then. Nothing else you would reccommend though?

Slightly off topic i know, but did you grab Forza MS2 Demo off marketplace yet? Can't wait for that - i thought the demo has a lot of cars, but 300 in the full game?!! damn!

At a stretch Xcite Truck is O.K.
Not a single game I'd rate over 70%

I've played most of them now and Twilight Princess is excellent, takes a while to get going but once you're a couple of hours into the game you're hooked.

I know what you mean but when your running over gothic roof tops slaying flying gargoyles it will seem worth the bit of herding, fishing and cat catching you had to do to get going.

ive played most of the releases so far and i have to agree that im not impressed. I was really looking forward to super monkey ball for a bit of a laugh multiplayer but the controls are just awkward and not many of the mini games are that great.
The games ive enjoyed so far are Excite Truck, Godfather and Medal of Honour (deffo better than Call of Duty 3),
I like the sound of Power Play Golf (i think thats what its called anyway) but havnt been able to find a copy anywhere

while playing medal of honour have a look at yourself in the mirror!!!
you don't half make some stupid moves... i have to close the blinds in the front room to make sure no one is looking in. :D

Zelda without a doubt. I've clocked 60hrs on it so far and still not finished. I found some of the most unique features and gameplay I've ever seen over the course of the game. I haven't even bothered with the extra mini games/ side quests much either.
