Which processor ?

I am upgrading my processor to an AMD XP 26000.

These are both 2600 but whick it better the Thoroughbred or Barton.

Also what is a good fan for this processor looking at a Coolmaster Aero 7

Is it best to go for Coolmaster thermal compound (Does not void AMD warranty) or Antec Silver.

Barton and arctic silver 5 (Antec is fine also).Need to make sure your mobo supports it.

I wouldn't suggest using a blower fan for your cpu. Sure they blow over a larger surface area but are far less efficient than regular fans.
