What is Deep Analysis, and what advantages is there by usuing it???

Anaylises every frame of the movie so that the resulting backup is usually better quality picture wise.
The only downside is that a deep analysis usually takes as long as the transcode again.

Sometimes it produces files you can't use, so you have to do it again. Happened to me yesterday.

Never had that happen to me. Anyways if you have a PC with decent specs then a Deep Analysis isn't that time consuming. I just do Deep Analysis on all my backups now since the total time is half an hour or less.

Tried Deep Analysis on a 4.6Gb film ...... took 33 mins, which aint too bad. Worked fine so I'll cary on using it.
