Why would you need to have a new PSU, couldnt you take the old one and put it in the crystal box?

Actually I think its a little cheaper than that. When I went to checkout the total changed from 69 to 59 euro. I'm not gonna complain. :)

Have you ever opened your Xbox? I'd say yes but that's only my opinion. Xbox-Scene will undoubtedly have diagrams on disassembling your console. You might want to have a quick read there and make the decision for yourself m8.

very easy.......u just need some torx drivers and thats it...

prob take 10-15 mins

torx 10 and torx 20 to be exact :)
i've timed myself
from taking out the first screw to taking out the mobo to soldering in pin headers and screwing it all back together, then loading up apps/flash bios. = 1 hour :D

Finally received my tax refund and now all the halo boxes are sold out in my area. If you think about it you can find a used mobo/hdd and psu for <$100 so at the end of the day I would have a crystal xbox with no controllers for around $200-210. Not too bad considering they are selling for $300-400 with the 2 controllers.

Besides those green xboxes are ugly.:zombie:
