Ipod Shuffle, do you need t'internet to put music on.

I am thinking of getting the wean an IPOD shuffle for her birthday, problem is at home she does not have t'internet access, does it need to connect online for whatever reason or can we just install the software on her laptop and away we go?

you need to go on the internet to download itunes if you have a computer with itunes already you dont have to go online for anything the new shuffles dont come with a disk that has itunes or you can find a third party freeware that will let you do this but itunes is the easiest to use

You can load the software onto her pc, but best thing to do would be to load it @ your place as im sure you have the internet and can download more then her, and then she can simply charge it from her laptop
