I've got an Epson R220 and wondered what was the best paper to use it for printing off covers?

Cheers

Any photo paper should be ok, although I like matt over gloss for covers. Check out some of the ones at SVP, they have some good deals on kodak at the moment.

For just printing covers e.g Dvd's....I would keep it cheap.
High gloss photo paper in Poundland (15 sheets).

how do you guys find non-Epson paper for printing photos (not covers)?
I've always found that other paper looks awful, smudged, dark, soft etc, but with Epson paper (premium glossy, photo quality inkjet etc) they always look spot on.
I always spend loads on Epson's own paper but maybe I'm doing something wrong if you guys are happy with cheap stuff?!

I use the kirkland paper from Costco and it works really well. Good value as well.

Saying that, I've used non-branded paper before and it's always been ok

The paper from poundland gives v.poor results with my R220. I like Kodak , Epson & most other "named" papers.

try svp they have range of photopaper most good enough for covers. I used to use matt paper 130gms gave good effect in case. Plastic makes it look like expensive photo paper. Dont forget to change paper quality to photo, some people forget & just print out as normal paper giving bad results. saying that i have some older expensive photo paper i use mainly for photos rather than covers gives really top quality with just normal print.

Mirror Matte Coated 140gsm - £3.29 from Scan ;) Perfect quality and that wee bit heavier as well.
