Right then, thanks for looking in. No viruses found (updated them) and no trojans (used The Cleaner and it's, well, clean). Deleted temp. net files and cookies and still having the same problems.

I can log onto IE6 and browse the web for all of 3-5 minutes before the lil hour glass comes up over my cursor and just freezes (says IE isn't responding under Application tab in Windows Task Manager).

I have to kill IE6 to get rid of it then start all over again.

Anyone know off the top of their head what the possible cause(s) could be without actually having to uninstall IE6 and reinstalling? Would like to troubleshoot this to learn.

Appreciate any advice on this, thanks.

Use mozilla ;)

but seriously, I had this happen to me a while back, fixed it with by repairing Windows XP, didn't have time to try anything else (had uni work to do). I know this doesn't tell you the cause of the problem, but it's the best I can do :)

I think I've found the culprit. I disabled my Norton's Password Manager and it's been fine so far (finger's crossed). Back to handwriting my password's again damnit.
