Xbox 360 - Uni network help..

Hi any help with this problem would be greatly appreciated..

Since this xmas i have not been able to use my xbox 360 on my halls of residence network at uni. When i run a connectivity test from the dashboard the MTU test fails. As i do not have access to the router/network settings is there anyway to fix this problem??

Also on part of the halls of residence internet agreement it says you are able to use consoles on the network.. so it wont be anything like they have blocked people doing this.

Any ideas or suggestions?

The MTU can only be changed in the Router settings... go and find out whats been changed tell them it needs changing back...
