View Full Version : First time trying but stuck after I dvd shrink
I have ripped my dvd using dvd shrink.
I had it so it keeps all menus extras and whatever. and had it create an AUDIO_TS and a VIDEO_TS folder in a folder marked movie.
Now I heard I can use dvd decrypter to write but when I click on the "Movie" folder it opens up and shows the video and audio folders. I then just look in the video folder and nothing shows... is there a step i am missing?

You can only burn using decrypter if you output an ISO using shrink, If you outputted to folder you'll have to burn using recordnow / nero or simular
well I dont know how to output an iso but I found out that ImgTool makes an iso. I did it and burnt at 2x speed. But when done it gets an I put it in my dvd player and I get disc read errors.. I am using the same dvd -r 's that my kill bill was burnt on so im not understanding. The dvd's im trying to back up is my futurama box sets if that means anything.

Use shrink and click on the 'back up' then you will see 'select target device'.
make sure you choose ISO from the drop down and you will see that a box will be checked to launch and burn with dvd decrypter.

for dvd 5 & DD:
Mode: ISO READ
then MODE: Iso Write
easy.
I dont have that option for an ISO after I click backup I am running version 3.1. I also disabled burn with nero.
on DVD 5's and I use DD will it also save the menus and extra's?
Also is there a certain speed I should be burning these with? I have a A07 XL Pioneer burner.

if you have nero you can just select make a data disk and put both the vidoe and audio ts files in and burn ...that will work

guy0 - You must have a later version of shink to output an ISO get it from below link.
http://home.comcast.net/~dvdshrink/DVDShrink3.1.7B4.zip
Then its just a case of hitting the backup button, and under "Select Target Device" choose ISO Disc Image, Then tick the option that apears saying Launch DVDdecrypter to burn the outputed image and press ok.
