bus speed

Hello all

back again for a bit of advice got my new build system up and running and have just run the system info thing in nero and it says my computers bus speed is 167Mhz but my processor is an athlon 2700xp which runs at 333Mhz

so what i want to know do i need to change it to 333Mhz in the bios or how do i change it or is it right :confused:

That's OK m8. Just had the same build and asked about the same. Someone more knowledgeable will give you a technical reason why one is double the other.

You're all right, m8, as it's the way the BIOS shows the FSB as well: 100 for 200MHz FSB, 133 for 166MHz FSB, and 166 for 333MHz FSB.
