Wireless connected but not working

I just formatted my m8s laptop and am trying to get the wireless working again. It connects but there is no activity on the connection take a look at the image to see what i mean. connects fine via a cable. I've tried bridging the connections as well

Do you have encryption (WEP/WPA) enabled on the access point? If so you need to enter the same key on the laptop.

I have found with trial and era using laptop wireless networking it can be a pain as i had simular problems last week after formatting,
some items to check.
is there a router and is wep enabled you will need the key code if it is,
also which code you are using 1,2,3 or 4 and channel number 1 to 13.
check firewall is'nt blocking the laptop wireless network.

try also click on the properties you have in the pic above and select wireless networks as i stated above if your using a router it should be listed in the preferred networks box if you double click on your router in this box you should be able to put the wep code in.

allof that seems in order i had the firewall on but have now turned it off. I have WEP on but if the password was wrong then it wouldnt let me connect would it. Still have the same problem :(

is this the firewall on the computer with the router?

besides the info i have already given you i'm stuck to what could be stopping your laptop wireless network from connecting correctly.
