have just got a new pioneer 106 ....when i put this in to my pc at the same time as my cd rewriter it dosent work but when i take 1 of them out it works no probs ....whats the prob guys

Check ur jumper settings on the drive mate

Jumper settings on back of drives most probably. Set 106 as master and CDRW as slave.

Hi mate , have you checked the jumper pins on the back of each drive, you can position these as (MS SL CS) make sure the master is set to master and connected to the master on the ide cable and the slave is set to slave and is connected to the slave on the ide cable. The master cable will be on the end and the slave in the middle.
