First question as always is what type of media are you using?

Also, what method are you using to create the image? I personally don't care much for clone CD, I prefer using IMG Burn.

The only time i had that error message is when i used cheap and nasty media, none of the things would burn, i thought it was something i was doing wrong, my burner etc.
If you let the people here know what media and also as stated above which method you are using then we can go from there.
Are you buring an image which you have downloaded? OR are you duplicating a backup dvd?

I've just noticed you're using CloneCD v5.2.8.1. Try v5.2.9.1 or the latest version as I'm pretty sure I've seen this problem before with your version.
If you're in the UK I would recommend www.svp.co.uk to get the Verbatim discs from.
For copying a backup you can do a normal straight copy with CloneCD but get a more up to date version.

No it's not V 5.2.8.1 I've been using this since the dawn of 360 backups and never felt the urge to change.
Your initial choice of media was no good to be sure so at least we've discounted that.
What speed do you burn at and how long does a burn actually take?
If your buffere is going up and down the burns might be poor.
Which 360 firmware and which 360 drive are you trying these on?
If you have very old flashed drives before media detection was implemented that may be cause for concern?
Any more info might help m8.

Hi dodgeviper
Right it seems I have a similiar set-up to you - Pioneer 111D + external case, burning with clonecd 5.3.0.1.
I'm also using Infinti 360 2.4x
So far I've managed to burn 5 games successfully using these disks, but my first burn went belly up and I think it was down to me standing the drive and case on it's side (vertical) in it's stand. I laid it flat and I've had no trouble since.
Just a thought
