and i'm installing 2x 1gb ram do i put them slots A1 and A2 or B1 and B2 or one in each A1 and B1.

Put them in the slots that have same color to run dual channel mode. This will improve the data transfer rate remarkably.

Congrats on your new PC.

I have another question for you m8 but it's the graphics card this time and i'm not sure which pci express slot to use on the Asus P5N32-E SLI Plus,

the graphics card is: Leadtek GeForce 7900 GT Extreme 256MB GDDR3 TV-Out/Dual DVI (PCI-Express) - Retail.

I just had a quick look in the manual (http://dlsvr03.asus.com/pub/ASUS/mb/socket775/P5N32-E%20SLI/e2979P5N32-ESLIPlus.pdf). There are 2 PCI-E x16 slots (blue) for you to connect up to 2 video cards in SLI mode. If you have only 1 card, use the one closest to the CPU socket.

Edit: You can check for latest nVIDIA drivers here (http://www.nvidia.com/content/drivers/drivers.asp).

Yup, sometimes I forgot about that little jumper, too. :)

I just did exactly the same thing. Was fitting a 111D into a box and in my wisdom moved the jumper to what I thought was pin 1 (Master) from Pin 5 (Reserve) ... turns out PIoneer shipped it as Master, but in THEIR wisdom decided to reverse the ****ing pins !

I'm so glad to hear that the system is up and running very fast now. Must say that you're a good system builder - Putting together such a big system from scratch without a hiccup!
