Hi there,

Firstly i couldn't think of a short title for this thread which is why it's so long :)

Basically I am unable to view certain sites including my own

All I get is
The page cannot be displayed

This seems to happen with just a couple of URL's

http://www.*****.com/forums (http://www.*****.com/forums)

and also http://www.mama-kin.co.uk (my site). I'm unable to access my email or log into my WHM, cpanel and FTP.

I also get the same problem when I try to access my host's site - http://www.s3hosting.com and all other sites hosted by it.

Any help will be greatly appreciated.

Thanks alot,

Craig :)

Well, I can't access the last two urls - they just time out. As for the first one, it's censored :)

The two remaining links have been working just fine here.

You could get firefox browser and try that(I think its much better/safer than IE), or make sure you have the newest IE.

Try clearing your history and temp internet files.

Have you deleted your local host file, I would try giving that a go. When you click on the links what does the staus bar say???

I have just reset(power off/on) my router and since then it's been fine.

Have no idea what the problem was but it seems to have been sorted. :saywhat:

although you didn't mention you had a router I suppose it is onee of those wonderful things that resolves itself with a reboot
