been recommended Linksys WRT54G-UK
but have also seen these ... Linksys WRT54GL-UK and WRT54GS-UK
now im confused as they all look the same speck to me :confused:

is it just the router you need or do you need a router/modem.

As polarstar says do you need a Router/Modem ?, as these models are Wireless Routers only (suitable for Cable users).

Ok m8y .... just checking ;)
I use the WRT54G on Cable, and it has served me well for about 18 months now .... nice stable piece of kit

dont want to put the mokers on you hobbo but i have had two linksys routers in the passed 18 months both have died so i now have a netgear and i am more than happy with it the netgear has a lot bigger range can use the laptop at the inlaws house now and they live at the other end of the street.
