Generic Host Process for Win32 Services Error

Can any one help mate out?

i seem to get this error alot, followed by svchost.exe - Applciation error

then my pc goes really slow.

please help any one?

Go to Control Panel -> Security Center -> Automatic Updates
If yours is set to Automatic (recommended) Change it to: "Download updates for me, but let me choose when to install them" Restart your computer. However you will need to remember to install the updates from now on.

i did that, it still doesnt work!

If i press CTRL ALT + DEL

and look under Processes, i have got 7 svchost.exe on there

Svchost.exe is the servicing host used to launch other applications. Svhost usually isn't the real problem, an app that's using it is. What have you got running in the background? Start disabling your startup apps and see if the problem goes away.
