dvd recorder query/probs

how do you copy dvdr+ that u make on standalone dvd recorders - on the disc is the usual video ts but there is also a video rm folder and dvd decrpter + windows explorer only shows 1 large vob of 1 gig when the dvd is over 3gigs - wheres the extra vobs etc

Strange, the recordings my MiCO recorder (Philips clone, all the guts are Philips) make have 5 VOBs of equal size, so typically they're all only about 700Mb rather than 1Gb. As you say though there is a VideoRM folder or similar.

I've found making an ISO in DVD Decrypter and then writing back works fine, then a copy of that disc can just be done using Nero. What make is the +R recorder?

the make is a compacks - done 3 now all the same 1gig is only viewable in windows but they play fine on the compacks and a diff dvd player but wont play all the way in windows - prassi can see all the disk but if i do a copy then it shows only the 1gig again - got me stumped

Have you finalised the disc before trying on your PC?

yep finalized it - but that wasnt the problem
sorted it - the only program that could read all of the dvd was good old shrink

U can import with several programs, like tmnpg , dvd authoring programs etc.
