can i do the update on my flashed 360 without it fecking everything up!

as above - was gonna finally give the xboxlive a go - but when i tried it asks me to install some sort of update - now i imagine this wont do any damage as im sure everyone on here hasnt all got unflashed 360's but wanna check first - is it ok for me to install this update??

Do you not have to make sure you have a newer firmware version? I thought that a live update fooked up some modded samsung boxes?

It does if the firmware version is mismatched to the original drive type - E66 error will occur. A reflash fixes that.
