New Norton Security alert... It won't let me protect my computer.

First time I have seen this, but a Norton security alert has come through for Trojan.Peacomm , it tells me to protect now, but it keeps telling it is unable to do so at this time. Is this maybe because of the high volume of people trying to update?

Yeah a lot of people had this i think it was the case that they hadn't got an update straight away for the tojan in question as i tried few times yesterday and it said all my definitions where up to date,but still gave the warning,but updated this morning and there a new virus def update which has stopped the outbreak alert flashing.Hope this helps

may be time to get another antivirus as it was only a couple of weeks ago i had problems with norton i'm now using mcafee on the pc and laptop.
