Hi Guyz
I need some expert help,
Ill explain wot ive done,

I have a property in Cyprus and I am in dispute with the builder, and from June till november last year I had about 90- emails in my default stored folder in Outlook express 6 on my C drive.

Then my pc was runnin like a pig, so I decided to flatten it and do a reinstall XP pro, so i formatted the C drive

But Before I did, I thought I was being a smart arse and changed my stored email folder to a folder called saved emails I had created on my D drive which was a partion of the main drive.

All went well with the reinstall, until I went to find my saved emails and to my horror, they wernt there.

No I have run all the publicy available data recovery programs like, davory, data recovery pro etc etc , all available on sites if you know where to look,

NOW I found the orginal Dbx folders but they are empty, I was wondering if there are any experts out there who can find, them I have been told there are packages available to find anything, but the data recovery programs costs £1000s, I was wonderin if there are any experts on the board who can help ?

Please help guyz as I have a court case approaching in Cyprus, and no bloody evidence http://www.bst-secure.com/forums/images/smilies/confused.gif

No worries mate - as said before, I do believe you have lost the info as reinstalling the OS would have probably overwritten the sectors used to store such info. The only other way I can think that you may have a chance is if you selected on your mailbox to leave a copy of each mail on the server - others might be able to assist further

Hi m8
yer I think you may be right ive tried everything, I have managed to find everyother dbx mailbox from the last 3 years, the programs I have used have found them, its not finding the crucial one, because I changed the default stored folder to one I created called saved emails, i have recoverd over 4000 emails of my main drive, but not the ones I need
