This is actually 20+4.
There is actually two connectors attached together.
Simply detatch the +4 and you should be OK. They slide together and lock.
where do the other for go..?i have just looked in the pc and their is a 4 block just tied up wood that be the ones..?(not needed then).?

If the 24pin power connector can't be separated into 20+4 connectors, you can buy a 24pin to 20pin adapter like this one (http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.asp?Item=N82E16812189061).
For folks that need a 20pin to 24pin adapter to use a PSU that has 20pin with a mobo that has 24pin, get an adapter like this one (http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.asp?Item=N82E16812189060).
i am after a 24 pin female to a 20 pin male adaptor any links to this..:xmasconfused:
as my psu is 24 pin male and my mb is 20 pion female..
now sorted thank you all for trying to help me out.
