msn messanger help

hi lads need help on msn messanger
the problem is when i type s in small letters(caps off) it doesnt appear on my screen but when i send it on other persons screen it ok
it started when was talking to kids on his
he had a flaming s in messanger
i asked how to do it and he said click it so i did
now i can only get the letter s to display on my message box in msn when caps is on
it still appears on other persons screen when i press it but it is annoying when typing stuff and s is missing
any info lads would be grateful

have you tried uninstalling it, and running a spyware check (such as spybot and adaware). Sounds very strange and worth ruling out

Have you created an emotiocon and not realised it? open a message box up and click on emotioncon , now click on more and is there any there that is just an s ? if yes then delete or do as above says and uninstall and re do .
