Patch, for changing V8 Supercars to Toca 2?

I heard there is a patch for changing the game V8 Supercars into Toca 2 (title screens etc).

Is this true?

Last note we have included a Race_Driver_2_Triplepack_KIT.zip
for the ones that already have the CSiSO version called V8_Supercars_Race_Driver_2_PAL_XBOX-CSiSO and of cource for the ones that already got DTM Race Driver 2 you can also use this fix.

The following games are including and are selectable at bootup:

(X) = DTM Race Driver 2

(A) = TOCA Race Driver 2

(B) = V8 Supercars Race Driver 2 Im not sure whether I can be bothered doing it though, surely its not going to make much differance, I quite like the cutscene in V8 too.

which versions are which?

V8 Supercars Race Driver 2 - Australia
TOCA Race Driver 2 - US
DTM Race Driver 2 - ??

...Its not so much a file, or patch m8, its a COMPLETELY different full release.

I extracted V8 Supercars and tried to ftp it over to my xbox. One file wouldn't go. Now the game hangs at the Evo-X screen. I used the default.xbe file for the HDD.

U need to rename:

shaders/PostProduction_ScalarDepthVelocityTransformShader. xvu

to:

shaders/PostProduction_ScalarDepthVelocityTran.xvu

...This is the file that wouldn't go across by FTP, btw :)

...There's is also a couple of different .xbe versions kicking about, some work, some don't.

...lmk which version .xbe u have, if after renaming u still don't get no joy!

Hope this helps."Race_Driver_2_Triplepack_KIT.zip file" isn't a full release, it's a 5.5mb patch for people who already have the game so they don't need to leech the whole thing again. The release you're thinking of is...

"Race_Driver_2_Triplepack_READ_NFO_PAL_XBOX-PARADOX" This is the exact same version as "V8_Supercars_Race_Driver_2_PAL_XBOX-CSiSO" which was released on the 4th april with the patch already applied. hope this clears things up.:)

@joe2025.. we can't tell you directly where to find the patch as it's against forum rules. all i can say is you'll find it in the usual places..
