hi guys, hope you all had a good Christmas

santa brought me a Sony BWU-100A dual layer Blu-Ray burner that works perfectly as a BD player, at the moment I only have 1 film but will be making my own and buying more as more get released (need cheap discs, but put that in a different section that no one reads)

my question is, does anyone know a way around the region coding on these drives like there's the small pieces of software for DVD-ROM drives?
my version of powerDVD Ultra says I have 5 region changes left, although I've not set it to region B yet and that's the disc I've bought (think some are region free at the moment)

cheers in advance for any help

Might be worth asking them if they intend to provide support in a future release :

its going to be a dead format with in a years time :(all in your opinion of course. with all major releases being in that format and a massive back catalogue of films being built up I don't understand how you can say that, but that's your opinion.

Agreed, only time will tell at the end of the day and pricing, or the lowering of it, will be a major factor in the outcome of which format wins the battle.

Must admit that seems a bit strange, maybe Slysoft know something we don't as I would have thought support would have been definate within a short period of time.
