New Comp with SP2!!

Hi All, My Nephew has just bought a nice new top o range Comp from Tinys uk...
He would not let me Wipe it Clean n start from scratch....lol.....What i would like to know is this....Tiny has Installed quite a lot of SP2 Updates, (patches, whatever)...there be about 15 in the "Add Remove"...It is XP Home (Yuk)....
I thought that SP2 was/is in Beta n Only for Beta Testing.....If So, Why the Heck is Tiny Comp puting them into New Comps!!!??...........I thought that there are loads of Software that won't work with SP2 at moment....Thanks...

Those are pre-SP2 patches done mostly via online updates.

Tiny ? Top of the Range ? God help him, we will all pray for him :)

Hi Duffy, But Does He Need them!!....I reckon NO....Also they just Plonked in a 200Gbt Hard Disk, NON partitioned, n hes lost 17Gbt instead of 7Gbt...193Gbt should be showing surely..Plus its in FAT32....(Now I got Nothing against FAT32, I got 3 HD useing it in XP Pro, but 1x120Gbt HD is NTFS)......Surely, being a New comp, With XP Home (YUK) 1GBT DDRRam, 200Gbt HD, 3.00Ghz Prosessor, it should of been done as NTFS, without SP2...(no wonder beginers get frustrated when it All gos wrong)

RC1= Release Candidate 1

Meaning, this is a final version, of future ones. They'll prabally have a RC2 and maybe RC3.
