Xbox 360 DVD Drive is grinding when opening and closing.

Everytime I open my Xbox 360 drive, there is a loud grinding noise, I think it is the motor that opens and closes the door. But I am not sure. The noise is gone when the drive is shut, and the drive has no problems loading games, so I don't think it is the laser.
Does anyone else know what else the problem may be?

So if it is a problem with my motor, then how will I go about replacing it? What type of motor, and how to install it? I have the Hitachi Drive

The drive covers come off with only a couple of screws.
Have a look inside and see if there is any debris or maybe slide a bit of grease along the runners before you worry about a motor.

Yeah, I'll take a look at it and clean the inside of it when I have to take it apart pretty soon.
