Freeze through VGA but not component

Havent usd my 360 for a few days since did the last little update. Usually use component but have a VGA lead as well which was working fine. Fiddling round to free some component inputs for a future Wii so plugged in the VGA lead. 360 now freezes on the title screen. Swapped back to component and it works fine....

Must be something to do with the last update. Anyone else had this problem??

I've only ever used the VGA. Have every last update on and it's all dandy.

i had this problem when i set my 360 up on my pc monitor and selected a resolution my lcd tv wouldnt accept , took me ages to suss it , in the end i plugged it back in to my pc monitor altered the settings and then plugged it back into my lcd tv
