Advice please re: xbox fifa 07

I've bought an original but used fifa 07 game off ebay but its an australian pal version, will this play exactly the same as the english release ?

Also will it still work online ok even though its a used game and the fact that its australain, i wondered if once the original owner has registered it that it would maybe prevent anyone else playing it online.

Sorry for the stupid questions but i know nothing about these games and its for a christmas pressie so i need to know its going to work ok.

If games region coding works in the same way as DVD movie region coding, it'll be fine....

I won't be able to try it until xmas, by which time it will be too late to complain to the ebay seller about it.

There's only 3 region markers on a 360 game afaik - PAL, NTSC/U and NTSC/J

So yeah it should be fine.

I've sold UK games to people in Australia before and not had any complaints.

If i was able to try the game now then i wouldn't have needed to have asked the question in the first place. ;)

Why not take it to your local friendly console shop and ask them to test it for you ;)
