360 HD DVD Drive problem

Anyone installed theirs ok ???

When i tried to do mine i connected it up inserted the green disc into my 360 and awaited whilst it tried to detect my new hd drive as instructed - problem is it doesnt find it :(

The usb ports on my 360 are fine i tested them with my pen drive and the hd drive itself is fine as when i connect to my pc it installed and let me browse the king kong disc, just it wont seem to install to my 360 most annoying - anyone any ideas or any similar problems who can help before i send it back :(

installed mine tonight.

had the same problem.

sorted after i used the top usb port on the rear of the Xbox 360.

it did not see it on the bottom one.
