I am going to get an Xbox360 (http://forums.xbox-scene.com/index.php?showtopic=568844#) here soon and I have been reading all of the different methods and I believe that I am going to go with a modchip. I know how to solder and I don't believe the soldering job would be much of a problem at all. And this firmware flashing just seems harder to me. And either way I go I am going to have to make an investment, SATA PCI card or modchip. And with the costs of these modchips being around $25 or less I believe this is the best solution for me.
But getting down to it, I have one problem, I cannot find a tutorial on how to disassemble the Xbox360 to be able to install the modchip on these drives. I have disassembled drives before and it can get messy and I am in great need of a tutorial on how to disassemble this sucker. BTW I have found tutorials for how to remove the drive, but none that show how to get the drive disassembled to get the chip installed on. So if somebody can please point me in the right direction, it would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks
