Stop dial up

Hi,

every time I boot up my pc, my modem starts an automatic dial up trying to connect to www.veritas.com (http://www.veritas.com).

Just want to know how to disable this.

Run spy bot.

Go to tools > internet options > General, ensure your home page is set to what you want it to be. This is highly recommended though :D

next go to the Connections tab, ensure the "Always dial my default connection" radio button is selected.

click apply

click okay

delete the dial up connection in the dial up connection folder - reboot and if it is still there then you will need to look for spyware - also found a few bits and bobs on google about it - care to search www.goole.com (http://www.goole.com/) PS - the 'G' is purposely missing from my link - cant do everything now
